Bright Colors

Flashback Colors

Relax I’m not advocating head to toe bright colors I’m just trying to illustrate the color palate we’re going after. Small, measured punches of color go a long way in adding interest to a neutral travel wardrobe.

Bright hues were seen all over the runways for spring.  Think colors that skew a little 80’s: royal blue, yellow, kelly green, bright purple.  A big bold splash of color livens up our otherwise neutral travel wardrobe.  All of a sudden a bold royal blue works with basic black.  Consider a shot of color when planning out your travel wardrobe.  I myself have been spotting a lot of yellows, in everything from mustard to lemon.  Limit your color frenzy to accessories, its hard to coordinate a whole travel wardrobe around fuchsia and turquoise.

14819.l.jpg$70 Puddle Jumper Bag comes in a bold
array of quilted colors and is an uber
funtional handbag to boot.  It has numerous
compartments to keep metro card separate
from your guidebook pages.  Roomy enough
for bottled water and all your touring around
town needs and then some.  Originally touted
as the perfect gym bag because of a handy mesh
storage compartment, this is just begging to serve
some travelista’s needs perfectly.  Also comes
with a handy detachable mirror.  Plastic bottom
and metal feet help keep bag from getting ooky on
train station floors.
