Layering it on
It’s still all about the layers for spring and summer. Lucky for us lightweight layers are perfect for packing light. We can layer our thin knit clothing for warmth or fashion. The newest ways include dresses over leggings or pants and tee shirts under dresses. Classic layering is still all about the trusty cardigan over everything, add a belt on top for a modern take. Get creative as long as the base layers are sleek and fitted you’ll avoid a bulky look.
Layering does not have to be done in extremes to be functional or fashional (I know that’s not a
word but it sounds good). A trench layered over a stretch oxford layered over a tee shirt adds
depth to an outfit and as the weather warms throughout the day you can gradually peel off each layer.
